Wilco at the Greek for a fun summer night

The Wilco show at the Greek Theatre last night was good fun.  It may have been a rock and roll extravaganza down in front, but we chose to sit up in the nose bleeds on the grass under the sycamores viewing the bay, the SF city skyline, as well as the stage.  It was a beautiful warm summer evening with a great selection of favs, some songs from the new album, and plenty of laughs.  At one point Jeff Tweedy brought his son Spencer out and told the Berkeley audience “look at what you did to my son, you dirty hippies” and then told him to “get off stage and go take a bath”.

California stars and good tunes - these guys don’t disappoint.  There new album “Wilco (the album)” comes out this week.

Check out Spencer Tweedy’s blog.  The boy is crazy creative.  When I was 14, I was still farting around with colored pencils.
