I should be working right now.. it’s getting close to 5pm and I have plenty to do.. but instead I’m looking at this photo in a slide show that my wife has sent to me saying “this is going around work.” She works at AAA and I suppose the buzz is about what social media can do for you or the company you work for, right? It’s what everyone is talking about…
The quote in the photo would be impressive not even considering what’s been going on in the music industry over the past several years with distrubution, FCC, Napster, et al. But, to see the shift of control and artist can take back with their careers is mind blowing. I love to see creativity at work, especially when creative minds are advancing their careers by doing in and being the message of inspiration and change.  And damn, I’m sorry we missed seeing @amandapalmer at Wanderlust last month.
